  • Hi! I’m about to travle to Mexico (Porto Escondidos) and Brasil (Netal) to make a film / documentary about a norwegian school there. Could anybody give me some advise on locations – are there any “must” locations nerby these towns i’m going to? And also, how should I go about filming in Brasil – I’ve heard I’t pretty dangerous over there… is this so?

    Thanks for any help!!

And thank you Murray for the book you gave me in Bali!! Good luck with everything!

    Regards, Eirik Vaage

Hola Eirik, Visit Lagunas de Chacahua, a wild life national park with mangroves & savannas. There’s also a center that research crocodiles. Oaxaca is one of the most beautiful states in Mexico It’s capital city Oaxaca and the adjacent archeological site of Monte Alban, was declared Humanity’s Cultural Patrimony by UNESCO in 1987. The folklore and tradition of the multiple ethnic goups that conform its population has put Oaxaca in the map. Take a small plane from Puerto to Oaxaca city and take the time to walk around downtown, eat in the market and mingle with locals. Tour the surrounding area, go and see how their famous pottery is made, buy multiples colorful handcrafts to share back home. Before traveling buy a couple of guides, the type of Lonely Planet and the likes. I can assure you, your journey will be a fantastic experience. Saludos, Gabriela Barraza.
