I’m coming to Europe shortly to begin some research for a WWII project. I’ll be in Normandy (France), Belgium (Bastogne, Ardennes region) and Holland (Arnhem, Nijmegen). I’m interested in making contact with location/production people and film commissions in those areas. Your help in these areas would be much appreciated.

Hi Patrick, for Normany I suggest that you make some contact with the following two Normandy Film Commissions.(1) The Basse-Normandie office of the Normandy Film Commission provides a variety of free services for french or foreign filmmakers wishing to shoot in Basse-Normandie. Feature films, shorts, commercials, videos, whatever the nature of the project, this service, created in January 2001 in Lower Normandy, offers logistical support and administrative support to facilitate the pre-production and production stages.
