    Hi all – am trying to find a way of hiring a satellite phone in Tunisia as it looks like we can”t take one in with us. Anyone have any sources? Thanks so much, Anna

    My name is Lotfi Sahli Film & TV fixer in Tunisia , a travel agent who use Desert trips in southern of Tunisia in Douz Have a satellite phone that we have used it in our previuos shoot , his name is Mr Abdelmajid / Douz Voyages
    Mobile + 216 98 322 010 , May be if you use his 4X4 cars , he will hire it to you
    If Not i can apply for you for the authorisation for Satellite phone Temporary import .

    Dear Anna,

    As a matter of fact, it is not possible to bring a sattelite phone.
    But you can contact local authorities to get a permit to import an use such device.
    few documents and a simple procedure is required, but 1st of all you (we) need a shooting permit. you have though to go through your tunsian partner (production service company) to get what you want.
