    If you have a French style property (exteriors) – with ideally the following look: ground floor 2 windows either side of central door; 1st & 2nd floors 5 windows; and a 3rd floor attic area with three windows – this would be perfect…and ideally located within the M25…

    There’s a wonderful historic house on the Surrey border which easily passes for a French chateau

    In 1986 for the Life Story of Marcel Proust exteriors served as a Paris street scene and the library was dressed up for a luscious Belle Epoque interior. There’s a good ball-room with mirrored pilasters small enough not to cause reflection problems and a music room that’s very continental. The ball-room can be French or it can be Swedish and the staircase hall is very versatile.
