  • For shooting commercial in March we need to find these plants to bring them to Moscow,Russia:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stinging_nettle

We can do some of these plant in artificial but the real question is how closely will they be filmed? If it’s close up and botanists might see it then we might have trouble but in mid or long shot these will be fine. (We supplied nettles for the Viking Centre recreation in York.)

Let me know if we can fit the bill,

    Regards
    Graham

Stinging nettles are easy to grow if we have some time. With regards to the other plant you are looking for I can look into seeing what is available. If you can give me an idea of time, quantity and location that would be very useful.

    Give me a call – 02083989151

    Hi Maria,
if shooting in Italy not before May is an option I can help you.

Stinging Nettle (Urtica dioica) is easy to find everywhere, that is not a problem.

Rodiola Rosea we can find in the Alps, I know exactly where, but it lives in the high mountains between 2.000 and 3.000 mt, where now there is a lot of snow.

I’m obviously talking of wild plants, not cultivated.

I’m a location manager but with a background of agriculture and botanical studies, so I have a certain knowledge of these kind of matter.

Don’t esitate to contact me for any further informations
