    I’m looking for a hill that has an impressive view over London. Preferably south London and ideally a quite road away from traffic. Many thanks

    You want Greenwich Park, South London. With the Greenwhich Observatory at your back you can see clear across the whole of London.

    It is Royal Park and you will need a permit to shoot from there. See here:

    There is a small park known as The Point in Greenwich that has panoramic views across to the city. It’s at the top of Point Hill, SE10.
