  Looking for a highway where we can create a traffic jam (60 cars), so we can shoot several scenes in different cars. Shooting will take place in 3rd week March. Good weather is a must! Please mail me if you have any good suggestions.

  Are you open for Asia? We can provide brand new high way for a shoot as it’s not yet opened for public. Any specific cars you wanted? just to see whether we have those in the market. Let me know.

  Also any specific look you looking at for high ways? like buildings in the background, overhead bridge … etc. ???

  Here in the UK we have a vehicle proving ground, where they have different roads and surfaces. We have filmed a motorway crash there in the past for a TV Car Programme as they have a three lane motorway set up. http://www.millbrook.co.uk

  here in the Czech republic (close to Prague) are several highways which are mostly finished just before giving the operation.

  open to shoot in Germany or weather not good enough? we closed roads and highways in the past, would need a little more information if you can imagine doing it in Berlin or Cologne area.

  Dear Gideon,

  There is a highway in the south of Spain which is finished but still not open to public. We applied for permits about a month ago for another shoot and there was no problem. The stretch of highway is about a kilometer long, with several bridges and exits etc.

  Hi Gideon

  Just outside Bristol (2 hours drive west from London, allow 3.5 hours from the Channel Tunnel) is the ‘Road To Nowhere’, a dual carriageway where we frequently film for TV. It was completed about 30 years ago except money ran out for a bridge over the railway. It is mostly surrounded by green fields, but with suburban houses where it comes off a roundabout.

  It is owned by the Council and is on the South West Screen database (sw-gl-0026): I have used it and can organise everything for you. Bristol is one of the three main production centres in England outside London so we have all the production and technical crew, equipment hire, lighting hire and hotel accomodation that you could need.

  Hi Gideon,
  In the south of Spain we have a coastal highway that spans from Almuñecar to Málaga. Along the same route there is a new freeway. Because of this, few people still use the coastal highway. It is a beautiful location, perfect for filming, and would be an easy place to divert whatever traffic there might be. We have very good weather during March, as well. I don´t have good pictures for you right now, but if you are interested I can send them to you.

  We have some beautiful Highways in India. In January 2011 we just did a shoot ( 3 days ) for HONDA ACCORD. Attached are a few pictures where you can create that sort of a jam with permissions from the National Highway Authority of India ( NHAI )
