We are looking for a forest area to make a photoshoot with a small river nearby around NYC area

    Dear Sergio

What sort of shot do you need to achieve? It’s not really clear from your brief description what you want to achieve. For example a broad vista with almost no buildings in sight or something more close up and intimate.

When do you want to shoot?

As you probably heard, the New York City region is in the process recovering from the devastating effects of “Superstorm” Sandy. There are large parts of Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens still without power.

That said, the Hudson River valley north of NYC offers many great location opportunities – The Hudson River School of painting is aptly named.

Please note that it is fall here and in a few weeks leaves will probably be down from the trees.

If you would like me to send you some images please let me know a bit more about the shot you want and when you want to do it.

    Best,

    Hi Michael,

we ar planning a fairytale shoot. The timing is obviously not great, but the models leave NOV 04, so we will have to shoot NOV 03.

The four themes we chose are rapunzel, snow white, little red riding hood and frog prince. we need trees, one old house, a little river… thats what we hae in mind. If you could send photos that woulc be fantastic.

Feel free to contact the photographer directly-
