  • Thanks everyone for the great response.
I have received a lot of information.
I will get back to the ones fitting best,
but it is impossible to answer all emails (more than 70)
    Thanks again, Dennis

We need a location with a small river running through a wheat field.
    Or a small lake.

    Beautiful golden wheat, not green.

Probably Australia, New Zealand or South America.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

    Hi Dennis,

Jacaranda Films has offices in Argentina, Uruguay and Chile.
For a shoot at the end of January / beginning of February, it would be the south of Argentina or south of Chile. The rest will already be harvested.

Let me know how I can help you,

    Best,
    Rémi

    Dear Dennis,

My name’s Sebastian, I’m Production Coordinator in argentinacine.
We do have this kind of locations in Argentina; but if you want to find golden wheat fields; you would have to shoot between mid December and mid January.

The pictures I’m sending you, were taken near Buenos Aires, November 6th.

If any doubt or concern, don’t hesitate to contact me.

    Best regards,

    Sebastian.

    Hello Dennis,

The South Island of New Zealand will be harvesting from approx Mid February. This is known as the best month to film in New Zealand. There’s a great crew base with all the equipment you need on the South Island so travel time will be minimal.

If you would like me to look at this further for you please let me know.

    Kind regards,

    Tiare

    Hi Dennis

New Zealand has an abundance of golden wheat fields harvesting around the middle of February. A stream or lake is no problem and I enclose just such a location below.

In recent years we have done a variety of complex line productions including Mercedes, Li Ning and Coldwell Banker – featuring Roger Federer, Asafa Powell and Tom Selleck.

Feel free to call and discuss your requirements further.

    Hi Dennis,

In South East Australia wheat is golden now and is being harvested from now until mid – late Janurary.

I have included a couple of shots. I don’t have any shots near a river or lake but I’m sure that it will be available.

    Regards,

    Victoria

    Dear Dennis

My recommendation if you decide to come to Argentina is to fix with the owner of the land the timeframe of the production because february can be very difficult to find fields not harvested.

We shoot for Zeneca/Syngenta in different type of plantations including wheat and always is an issue the coordination of the harvest and the shooting.

Let me know what you decide you have plenty of offers from production companies of Argentina.
