    I need to find London Slums and tenament buildings circa 1912 and also a large industrial laundry for a feature film. Can anybody suggest a good area for this??

    Tricky brief, there is a section of camden market that we used on importance of being earnest, for a working class slum. Also the interior of the old mill next to 3 mills could be transformed into a laundry, period interior, and cobbled streets outside, georgian exterior buildings. Hope you are well.     Dear Mark,

    I would like to offer you Lodz, Poland as a great impression of London slums from that period. There are lots of great (meaning not so great) brick buildings and stone pavements etc. I attach some reference photos, but that’s just a fraction of the locations available. I’m with a Polish production company that would be more than happy to arrange everything here. I’m sure that the expenses would be significantly lower here.
