  Looking for advice on where it’s possible to shoot with reasonably up-to-date military hardware such as a tank & helicopter for a TVC. Fairly short turnaround so 4-6 week process for permits for filming with such hardware would likely rule any country with those or similar restrictions out. Ideally the locations would be desert or somewhere that could pass for Afghan village or a war torn part of a city. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

  Of all the countries we service the best country where we can have a fairly easy access to the military equipment you are looking for is Uruguay. The landscape does not look like Afganistan but we can suggest other type of locations such as quarries or sand dunes.

  Hi Johnny,

  In Spain we have a small military base in a desertic area that could work as Afghanistan.
  I don’t think there’s military hardware there, but a bigger base is pretty close from there, so maybe would be possible to manage to bring it. The landscape is amazing.
