We are looking for an experienced fixer in SWEDEN for a UK Channel 4 factual travelogue programme.
    The role will include:
    – being a sounding board/point of reference for the Director and provide ideas and suggestions on locations, stories and contributors
    – providing an ‘off the beaten track’/insiders view to Sweden and help generate interesting and unusual ideas
    – providing contacts/places of interest that are not available to us via the internet
    – assisting with translation and logistics
    – having a good command of spoken and written English
    – Prep dates are flexible and on an ad-hoc basis (ideally along side other work)
    – available to film between 23 Sept-2 Oct and a recce the week before
CVs must have factual credits and and a UK reference must be provided. A background in journalism would be helpful but not essential.
    Many Thanks

    Hello,
I am a British doctor living in Nyköping, Sweden on a smallholding with my Swedish husband and our 3 bilingual children. I was wondering if you would be interested in including us in your documentary. We host volunteers who come and stay with us for one or two weeks at a time. They help us out on our land and we show them what family life is like in Sweden. It’s a unique way of experiencing a country. The volunteers come through a web agency ‘World wide organisation for organic farms’ . We live in a beautiful, eccentric house and would think it very exciting if you were to come and see what we’re all about.
Mail me if your interested and I’ll send you photos and links to our site.
    Best regards,
    Joanna Ahlkvist
