    Seeking a fixer in haiti.

A fixer or scout is required for work in Haiti. We work with a fashion house which has granted a scholarship for a Haitian resident. We need help in finding and auditioning candidates, which could lead to not only a scholarship but a career in the fashion industry.

This is part of a scheme to improve the lives of underprivileged Haitians, and we are seeking only those from that background. We also seek someone with visa and passport knowledge as the successful candidate would be educated in Europe.

For the last 10 years, from October till May, we are producers/ fixers in DR and Haiti.
From May till October, we produce in Montreal Quebec for 20 years.

As French Canadians, we have all many entry’s and more in Haiti. We just coordinated a shoot for TOMS Shoes who is now manufacturing in Haiti and giving back to the Haitians.

May you please give us a bit more details in order for us to help you in your search.

    Hi Nick.-

If you are looking for a real plus in this production…..you need a person like Miss Universe Haiti 2010, Sarodj Bertin. She also has a foundation that help homeless kids there, and also the contacts you need to engage with the proper persons there. If interested, contact me through my email.

    best regards,

    Dear Nick,

We are writing from “Memoria + Cultura” (Memory + Culture), a collective of artists videomakers who work on film productions in our country.
    http://memoriaycultura.blogspot.com/p/servicios.html

We have done several projects with our neighboring country, Haiti, with which we are currently working on another project called “Sparring Partners Project”, that seeks to strengthen the artistic and technical skills through the production and financing of documentary projects, both in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. The official website of the project is http://www.sparringproject.org.

The purpose of this message is in relation to the needs you have with the production logistics for the fixer in Haiti and, considering our filming expertise in Haiti, we believe we could reach an agreement to work together and offer facilities or production requirements that you might need.

We look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.

    Best regards,
