  Looking for 3 location for an upcoming commercial shoot in May. We are doing 3 films around following location/Situations:

  – Dog sledding in open wide landscape.
  – Mountain biking in mountains/grand landscape
  – Boat racing

  I have attached mood pictures. Important that we can find the actual people in area as well and do an extensive cast among “professionals” in that given sport.

  We should be able to chapter all three elements to your commercial in May. The board provided seem workable concepts for you to shoot in Alaska.

  Hi Trine,
  Unfortunately there is not likely to be any snow in NZ at that time of year. our winter months are July/August/September. Otherwise we could have easily done all those things here. What a shame the timing isn’t better!

  Hi Trine,

  Early May would be the perfect time for Western Norway. We have snow, dog sleds, as well as the coastal locations and grand mountain landscapes.

  I will send you more info on email. Attached photos are taken in the first two weeks of May – in the mountain plateaus there are still lots of snow, while closer to the coast the mountains are barren and green.

  You could find all three locations within a couple of hours drive.

  Hi Trine,

  We’re ready to welcome you to Canada. Dog sledding will still be a possibility in May on Baffin Island, for example. Mountain biking and boat racing are easily found within city limits of our major centres, and will be green and warm in Southern Canada that time of year.

  Direct flights from Europe to Canada, as well as direct flights from southern Canada to the North make access very simple. (4-7 hours from Europe; 3 hours north from Southern Canada).

  The low Canadian dollar trend makes it incredibly affordable and accessible, especially now.

  We are an experience production company and service provider; so we work with the many film commissions, jurisdictions and top crew positions to make for a seamless operation, no matter where in Canada.

  Hi Trine,

  Canada would be a great option to service this project.

  Sailing & Mountain Biking would both be easily accessible in Vancouver/BC region. We would have to go further north for snow/dog sledding in May.

  I am happy to send location references along if you are interested.

  Partners Film has been serving commercial projects for over 30 years in Canada and it is a great time to shoot here as the current CAD is allowing for even higher production value.
