  Looking for snow in mid October to recreate a ski jump.

  Does anyone have any ideas in North America or Europe that are historically more likely to have snow mid October?

  As Bui already said – Iceland would be a right option. In respect of climate, snow and ease of access.The attached image was made in the middle of September. And it’s just 30 minutes drive from a comfortable hotel in the middle of Icelandic forest

  Yes, as mentioned below, we have snow here all year around.

  Afternoon,

  We have snow year around up on Mt Hood here in Oregon. In fact they do year around skiing on the upper part of the mountain. The snow is easy to access either via a chair lift or dirt road from the Lodge. Also, there is usually a fresh dusting of snow around mid Oct (but of course that depends on the weather) If you’d like more info please reach out to me directly.
