The Location Guide is heading to Berlinale 2017
TLG will be in attendance at this year’s Berlin International Film Festival. Now in its 67th year, Berlinale is one of the most prominent film festivals in the world and a key networking event for the European production industry.
Clara Le, TLG’s Commercial Director explains: “as a truly global film festival, Berlinale presents the perfect opportunity to present TLG’s bespoke range of services, as well as our global networking event, FOCUS, to key individuals in the production industry.”
A number of film commissions, including Film Commission Poland, will also be in attendance. Poland recently announced that it would implement a 25% cash rebate later this year, which will allow the country to expand its international appeal.
Etienne Comar’s Django has been selected to open the festival, following on from last year’s Coen Brothers feature, Hail, Caesar!. Renowned Director, Paul Verhoeven will head this year’s jury alongside a number of key industry figures such as Maggie Gyllenhaal and Diego Luna.
