Claire Davidson leading The Sweet Shop’s new production office in Bangkok

The Sweet Shop is now offering production services from a new office in Bangkok. It will be led by Claire Davidson and will cover countries including India, Malaysia, Vietnam and the Philippines. Davidson was most recently Executive Producer at Sudest Productions in Vietnam.

George Mackenzie is Managing Director of The Sweet Shop: “We have been lucky to enjoy great support from the Asian region and bringing Claire on as the local Executive Producer is recognition of that growing demand. It will enable us to better service an extremely important market.”

We will carve our own niche in the region and in so doing extend the existing amount of high-end productions that The Sweet Shop is known for around the world.

Davidson commented: “I have admired The Sweet Shop for many years. I have always had the utmost respect for their directors’ creative achievements. Bringing The Sweet Shop into the South East Asian market is a clever move. We will carve our own niche in the region and in so doing extend the existing amount of high-end productions that The Sweet Shop is known for around the world.”

Davidson started out with MTV before moving into TV commercials. At McCann Worldgroup she ran One Six Six, McCann’s in-agency production company.
