Producer Jess aan de Wiel sorts London meet for Women in Advertising Production
The Women in Advertising Production (WAP) – set up by producer Jess aan de Wiel – has organised a formal meeting in London for tomorrow night (Thursday 8th March). Designed as a network for female producers in the UK, the meeting will take place at Envy in Foley Street.
Jess states: “I set up the WAP about a year ago but at the moment it exists mainly as a private page on Facebook. We’ve had several informal meet ups over the past few months, but tomorrow’s event will mark a step up.
Lots of women have been joining and have been using the site to look for services and jobs in the industry.

“Lots of women have been joining and have been using the site to look for services and jobs in the industry. Hopefully the association will continue to grow in the coming months and I’m looking for sponsorship too.”
The intention with WAP is to offer a network specifically for women working within the commercials industry.
