Channel 4 films on location in Bath for TV miniseries The Fear
Bath in western England is being used as a filming location for upcoming TV miniseries The Fear, produced by UK broadcaster Channel 4. Places like the city’s Circle Bath hospital and Kingswood School will double for Brighton, where the story is set.
Jamie Lengyel is the project’s Location Manager and spoke to This is Bath: “It’s great to be able to showcase new areas in Bath for a high-profile film production and we are very grateful for the enthusiastic support we have received, particularly from the art galleries in Margaret’s Buildings and the Bath Film Office.”
Bath is famous for its Roman legacy and historic architecture, and has been a World Heritage site since the late 1980s. Keira Knightley’s period feature The Duchess and Reese Witherspoon’s historical adaptation Vanity Fair are among the films to have visited the city in recent years.
Jamie Lengyel's previous projects include Martin Scorsese's Hugo and Tom Hooper's The King's Speech.
