UK and Brazil agree location filming co-production pact

The UK and Brazil have signed a co-production deal that will enable audiovisual projects from each country to benefit from their respective filming incentives. It’s the tenth such agreement that the UK has signed with countries and territories around the world.

Manoel Rangel is Director-President of ANCINE in Brazil: “We are hoping that this agreement will lead to much future collaboration in the field of film and TV production, in which both Brazilian and British producers are known for their expertise and unique creativity."

UK productions filming in Brazil under the terms of the agreement will be treated as national productions when it comes to incentive support and TV deals. Brazilian projects in the UK will be eligible for filming tax relief and cash from the BFI Film Fund.
