Bollywood movie films on location in Oman with star Harman Baweja
A new Bollywood movie has filmed on location in Oman with star Harman Baweja. Dhishkiyaon spent ten days shooting near Muscat in the north of the sultanate, which lies on the eastern tip of the Arabian Peninsula.
Renny Johnson runs Mezoon Travel in Oman. He line produced the shoot and spoke to Times of Oman: “It's a great new destination for them (the production team). In one country you get everything. You have mountains, beaches, the sea, wadis, and even the snow is available here in Jebel Akhdhar. And it's just a two-hour flight from Mumbai.”
The Bollywood audience is always hungry for new and exotic locations. Recent productions have filmed in Slovenia, Northern Ireland and Australia, and Virgin Atlantic has launched a new route between London and Mumbai to cater for an increase in film tourism to the Indian city.
