Bollywood considers Philippines’ highest bridge for action movie filming
Bollywood producers are considering the Philippines’ highest bridge for scenes in upcoming action thriller Dhoom3. The Agas-Agas Bridge connects two mountain roads in the Southern Leyte region of the central Philippines.
Filming could start in the next few weeks and the producers are seeking permission to close the bridge (above) during the daytime over three consecutive days.
Karina Rosa Tiopes is Regional Director of the Department of Tourism and spoke to Philippine Information Agency: “Ofixer Ink Philippines, the designated local line producer, has been tasked to look for a bridge in one of the more rustic areas in the country as one of the location shoot requirements.
They are looking at the Agas-Agas Bridge in Sogod, Southern Leyte, as a possible bridge candidate for the blockbuster movie.

Hollywood recently visited the Philippine capital Manila for centrepiece action sequences in The Bourne Legacy, and the country is likely to benefit even more from a Bollywood showcase.
