Ile de France Location Expo comes to Paris’ Parc de la Villette

This year's Ile de France Location Expo – run by the Ile de France Film Commission – will take place at the Parc de la Villette in Paris on 14th-15th February, and The Location Guide is a proud partner. It will showcase Ile de France filming locations, as well as options throughout the country.

Ile de France has attracted an impressive collection of international filmmakers in recent times,” says Eric Grebille of the Ile de France Film Commission, “including Martin Scorsese with Hugo and Woody Allen for Midnight in Paris."

“In the purpose of promoting the region to foreign productions," he adds, "the Ile de France Film Commission has invited British Location Managers to visit the Location Expo and discover all the amazing locations open to filming crews.”

Jean-Frédéric Garcia is Publishing Director at The Location Guide: “Partnering with the Ile de France Film Commission for the Ile de France Location Expo is a real highlight of our year. The Ile de France region has many fantastic locations to offer the global production industry and there are many more options elsewhere in the country.”

The Location Guide will have a stand at the Expo, alongside representatives for striking Ile de France locations including Le Louvre, Cité internationale universitaire de Paris and chateaux at Versailles, Fontainebleau and Saint-Germain-en-Laye.

There’ll also be plenty of opportunities to find out about locations in other parts of France, like the Riviera (Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Film Commission), Corsica and overseas territories including La Reunion and Guadeloupe.
