On Screen Productions announces filming for new African documentary series
On Screen Productions, based in Kenya, will film a new TV documentary series for Africa Pay TV operator Zuku. From Here to Timbuktu will offer a portrait of 21st Century Africa and will initially film in regions including Ethiopia, Uganda and Zanzibar.
“After years of producing one-off documentaries for local NGOs and international broadcasters including CCTV, BBC World and MTV Europe, we are quite excited to be handling the production of an entire documentary series,” says On Screen’s Head of Business Development Toni Kamau.
The shoot will mark On Screen Productions’ second project with Zuku, having worked on athletics magazine show Setting the Pace last year.
