Cannes Soiree Partner 2013: Chilean Advertising Producers Association
Chilean Advertising Producers Association (APCP) has joined The Location Guide as a partner for our Soiree at the Cannes Lions Festival. The non-profit organisation represents the interests of commercial production companies throughout Chile.
The APCP works closely with the Chilean government to establish best practices in the national commercials industry and also assists its members in making contact with potential clients interested in filming in Chile. There are currently 12 members and there are plans to grow.
“This will be the APCP’s second time at Cannes Lions,” says Leopoldo Luisetti, the organisation’s President: “It’s a very important event and we’re very keen to promote Chile and everything it has to offer as a commercial filming location. We will also be launching the Latin American Film Production and Advertising Association, which aims to improve production co-operation between Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru and Chile.”
The APCP guarantees a high quality of service from its member companies, as each firm has produced at least 20 commercials in the region. Over the coming years the objective is to establish Chile as the next South Africa in terms of its global production profile.
