Film Polska Shots films Mahindra Centuro motorbike spot for Indian producers

Local producer Film Polska Shots helped find the perfect locations for motorbike driving scenes and organised production for Mahindra Centuro in Krakow, Poland.

The vibrant, attractive and unique city of Krakow is becoming a hot spot among international producers. Because of its spectacular architecture and monuments it can easily recreate Paris, Rome or London. "Finding great locations was crucial for us," say the producers from Chrome Pictures Pvt. Ltd, who came to Poland with a Mahindra Centuro commercial.

Their local partner for the production was Film Polska Shots, a production house actively involved in international co-productions. Established in 2009, the company has gained industry recognition thanks to servicing international co-productions with Indian, Norwegian, German, Austrian, British and American partners.

"Indian producers chose Krakow as their shooting location, for it is the perfect spot to run the production from, yet still manages to easily reach the whole of Poland. Poland offers a variety of picturesque landscapes, from the mountains to the seaside, and it is still considerably low-cost in comparison to other countries," comments producer Krzysztof Sołek, founder of Film Polska Shots.

"We considered Prague at first, because of its film tradition and being a recognisable brand within the industry. However, production services in Prague are still quite expensive. What made us choose Krakow was that it had similar advantages and quality of services, yet remains much more cost-effective," says Prafull Sharma from Chrome Pictures Pvt. Ltd.

The commercial has been recently launched on Indian TV. In the meantime, there are new international projects to be shot in Krakow in the next few months.
