The Location Guide prepares for Cannes reception with Namibia Film Commission
The Location Guide and Namibia Film Commission will be holding a drinks reception at the Cannes Film Festival on Thursday 15 May. Cannes is the world’s leading international film festival, offering showcases of the latest movies and extensive networking opportunities.
“We’re very happy to be hosting our Cannes drinks reception with Namibia Film Commission,” says The Location Guide’s Commercial Director Clara Lé: “The commission is doing terrific work in southern Africa and The Location Guide has been watching Namibia’s international profile steadily rise over the past few years.”
Namibia Film Commission is helping to build a local production industry with international appeal, with action road movie Mad Max: Fury Road among the recent high-profile features to have shot in the country. The production will be released internationally in 2015.
