Cannes Lions Soiree 2015: Sevilla Film Office continues partnership

The Sevilla Film Office has re-joined The Location Guide as a media partner for our Soiree at this year’s Cannes Lions Festival. The Sevilla Film Office is part of Seville External Promotion (APPES) and helps producers with free locations services and production logistics.

Expanding its support for international producers, the Sevilla Film Office recently launched a Shoot in Seville audiovisual guide, as well as an extensive list of the city’s most film-friendly locations.

Seville has had a strong year and got a major profile boost hosting scenes for HBO’s international hit Game of Thrones. In the first few months of this year, location filming in Seville has grown by nearly 50% on 2014.

Recent commercial shoots visiting the city have included major brands such as Adidas, Citroen, Samsonite, Nikkon and Orange.

Seville offers architectural delights dating back to the classical era and the city also has strong Jewish and Arab heritage.
