Film Offices UK to debut first public exhibit at FOCUS 2016
Film Offices UK (FO:UK) will make their first public appearance as a collective at this year’s FOCUS event. FO:UK is comprised of the country’s leading film offices, allowing them to share their resources and experience to provide Producers with an optimum filming experience.
Lynn Saunder, Manager of the Liverpool Film Office details: “established in 2013, FO:UK meet on a regular basis to share the best practices, current industry trends and has group affiliation membership to the Production Guild. For the first time a number of the members will be jointly exhibiting at FOCUS.”
She continues: “funded by their respective local authorities, their local knowledge and expertise is an invaluable resource for acquiring film permits, finding locations, sourcing local crew and services, facilitating traffic management and road closures, consulting local police and all the other logistical challenges productions face on a daily basis. Being part of a local council enables the Film Office’s to cut through red tape, go that extra mile on behalf of their film and TV clients and maximise the benefits of production in each of their cities and regions.”
