Pirates 4 and Fast Five shoot on location in Puerto Rico
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is currently filming in Puerto Rico. The film, which features Penelope Cruz and Ian McShane alongside Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush, has already shot on location in Hawaii.
Nadia Barbarossa, of the Puerto Rico Film Commission, said: “The film is shooting in Old San Juan, where many of the colonial buildings date back to the 1500s, while they’re also shooting ocean scenes on the east side of the island.”
Fast Five, the latest instalment of the Fast and the Furious franchise, recently wrapped on the island, having doubled Puerto Rico for Brazil.
