Spielberg’s War Horse shoot to include Dartmoor locations
Steven Spielberg’s new film, an adaptation of Michael Morpurgo’s novel War Horse, will shoot partly on Dartmoor and, according to USA Today, filming starts next week.
Mr Morpurgo said: “It is going to be an event for the West Country. So much of Devon is stunning and I love the idea of bringing the countryside to people all over the world.”
The film will feature a host of British actors, with Emily Watson and David Thewlis starring. It represents Spielberg’s first film as director since Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull reached cinemas in 2008.
