Field of Dreams film location for sale in Iowa
The 193-acre baseball field built in Iowa for the filming of Kevin Costner classic Field of Dreams in 1989 has been put on the market.
Originally constructed by Universal Studios, the field and the two-bedroom house next to it passed under the ownership of the Lansing family. In the years since the family has welcomed around 65,000 tourists each year to the baseball field free of charge.
The asking price for the field and house is USD5.4 million. Neither Kevin Costner nor Dreams co-star Ray Liotta have expressed an interest in buying the land.
