The Descendants starts shooting today with George Clooney in Hawaii
George Clooney’s new film The Descendants begins shooting today in Hawaii, with Alexander Payne directing, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Clooney plays a slacking father who attempts to become more involved with his daughters in Hawaii when his wife is involved in a boating accident.
Payne and writing team Nat Faxon and Jim Rash adapted the screenplay from the novel by Kaui Hart Hemmings and the cast also includes Judy Greer and Robert Forster.
