New York's location tour
The Mayor’s Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting is producing a series of podcast tours to highlight the rich and fascinating history of film and television locations in New York City.
Downloadable for free from their website, and narrated by some of the City’s most notable figures in entertainment, the first two tours will focus on the film and television scenes that were shot throughout Lower Manhattan.
The tours will offer an insight into the significance of each location - for both New York filmmaking and the city itself. Each is approximately an hour in length, the tours are designed to link together, so that they may be enjoyed separately or in sequence.
