Screen Australia names investment managers

Sally Browning, Mark Lazarus and Tim Phillips have been confirmed as Screen Australia's new Investment Managers in the Production Investment Division. Sally, Mark and Tim are supported by Project Managers Heather McFarlane and Michelle Russell.

Sally Browning was an Investment Manager with the former FFC. Prior to that she was Head of Development & Investment at NSWFTO. There, Sally designed and implemented the renowned Aurora script development programme. Little Fish, Somersault and the upcoming films Accidents Happen, Prime Mover and Animal Kingdom have come out of Aurora. Sally is also a multi award-winning producer of international documentaries.

Tim Phillips was Legal and Business Affairs Manager at the Australian Children's Television Foundation where he had responsibility for advising on all aspects of the ACTF's production, funding, distribution and licensing activities. Tim has also worked as an intellectual property lawyer at Minter Ellison, advising media and online businesses, and as a strategist for media buying company emitch Ltd.

Mark Lazarus has produced several feature films, most recently The Loved Ones (currently in post-production) and Restraint. In 2001, Mark produced Paul Goldman's successful Australian Rules. Mark has been Project Manager at the former AFC, Executive Producer of Filmgraphics Entertainment, Head of Development and Acquisitions for Ocean Pictures, and Creative Affairs Executive at Fox Icon Productions.
