EC to fund European audiovisual industry
Plans to improve links between the European audiovisual industry and the rest of the world have been announced by the European Commission.
An initial EUR2 million of funding will be provided by Media Intenational to look into options for a permanent EU funding programme to be launched in 2011. The focus will be on boosting co-production, helping companies access foreign funding and finding new markets.
