China relaxes laws for talent industry
Investors from Hong Kong and Macau can now launch their own artist management companies in mainland China. They can also, under the China State Council's new relaxed regulations, set up mainland branches.
Foreign investors, not from Hong Kong or Macau, are also allowed to set up Sino-foreign joint venture artist management companies, as long as their share does not exceed 49%.
