A motion picture that is filmed partially or entirely in Taiwan may receive funding equivalent to 20% of its total personnel expenses on Taiwanese nationals employed as cast members during the shooting period in Taiwan. Funding equivalent to 15% of the total expenses for nationals hired as staff members is also available.
A motion picture that is filmed and post-produced partially or entirely in Taiwan may receive funding equivalent to 15% of the post-production expenses incurred in Taiwan.
A motion picture that meets at least one of the above can also apply for a further funding equivalent to 5% of other expenses incurred during shooting in Taiwan.
