New New Zealand incentive fund
From July 1st, the NZ government is pledging to give 40% of the NZ spend for Feature Films with significant NZ content.
Spend must exceed NZ$ 5 million inorder to qualify for this new SPIF ( Screen Production Incentive Fund ).
Films must spend at least 50% of budget in NZ and be produced for NZ cinematic release.
