I found Winnipeg to be exciting and unique. We found fantastic crew members, spectacular vistas and an open and eager spirit everywhere. I wouldn't hesitate to film there again.

Manitoba has extended its location filming incentives through to the end of 2019. Eligible productions shooting in the province can claim a labour tax credit of up to 65%, or a cost-of-production tax credit of up to 30%.
Manitoba’s base filming labour tax credit is 45%, but the programme also rewards productions that shoot on location in rural areas and projects that employ a local producer.
A 10% bonus is also available for ‘frequent filmers’.
This, combined with world-class co-producers, service producers and crew, makes Manitoba the ideal filming location for any budget.
Projects that have filmed in the province include Capote, Goon, Shall We Dance, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, New in Town and many others.
