Denmark might be a small country, but it has a big reputation in the industry for its range of locations, depth and skill of crew and quality of equipment available.

Climate

Denmark’s location results in cool summers with average temperatures around 16C and mild winters with average temperatures of about 0.5C. It is frequently windy, strongest in winter and weakest in summer.

In winter you will find the lowest temperature in regions which are well away from the sea. In summer you will find the highest average temperatures in South Zealand and Lolland-Falster.

Generally the level of equipment in Denmark is very high and the amount of equipment is comprehensive. The country has several facility houses and a wide variety of equipment rental companies.

Entry requirements
Denmark is a member of the European Union (EU). There are no restrictions on the movement of personnel and goods within the EU.

If you are planning on bringing equipment in from outside the EU, the ATA carnet system would be the best approach.
The ATA carnet, also known as the merchandise passport, is an internationally-recognised customs document that allows goods to move into foreign markets free of duty and tax.
It is recognised in 85 countries and territories and, as an EU member, Denmark is part of the system.
