Austrians plan 20% tax break
It has been reported that Austria is planning a 20% tax break for productions shooting in the country. The film fund will be based on the German model and is due to be in operation later this year.
The Austrians will be hard pushed to match the success of Germany's DFFF system which has been responsible for pulling in big budget films such as Inglourious Basterds, The Reader and Valkyrie.
