Fernando Uriegas Vázquez is Director General of the Mexico City Film Commission. He’s an expert on location filming in Mexico and Central America, and he’s run the commission since 2009. His more recent feature work includes Apocalypto, Che and Man on Fire.
Martin began his film career with a move to Johannesburg in the late 80s that coincided with a feature film boom in the region. He spent ten years in location and transport management, before becoming a Producer at Moonlighting Commercials in 1998.
[slideshow id=298]Xavier worked as a runner and PA while studying Law and in fact was then a criminal lawyer for a decade before Gianni Ruggiero, a great classic TVC director Xavier knew, persuaded him to be his producer.
[slideshow id=297]Nahua is with Parker Ranch on Hawaii’s Big Island. She’s been with the Ranch for five years and deals with jobs including PR, overseeing IT, Archives (including land archives), visitor activities and special projects. She also takes care of the Board of Directors and Trustees.
[slideshow id=296]Wily Blázquez operates under the brand andaluciafilmlocation and has more than 19 years of experience as freelancer working on commercials, photo shoots, movies, music videos, documentaries and reality shows. He works across Spain but focuses on Barcelona and Andalucía.
Ian entered the film industry as an Assistant Cameraman and then an Assistant Director and he’s worked in commercials, features and documentaries around the world. His work has focused on the Rocky Mountain region of the US for more than 20 years.
Nigel started in advertising in the 70s as a runner. He worked up through the ranks to become an Account Executive and then in 1978 became a Producer. He’s now been producing commercials for more than 30 years.
