The next Star Wars film is set to return to shoot scenes on Skellig Michael off the west coast of Ireland. A production team for Star Wars: The Force Awakens shot there last year and it seems the location is planned to appear again in the next movie in the franchise.
Film London will hold a five-day familiarisation trip for Nordic TV producers from the end of November. Individuals from Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland and Finland will be invited to tour London studio facilities and attend C21’s Content London conference.

The director and producer spent a year living with the Bedouin to tell their story, set in 1916, of young Bedouin boy Theeb and his older brother who escort a British soldier and his guide to a well on the way to Mecca.
A remake of classic western The Magnificent Seven is filming on location in New Mexico. The original movie was released in 1960 – itself a remake of Japanese masterpiece Seven Samurai – and the film quickly became an enduring cornerstone of the western genre.
American firm Fox 21 Television Studios has finalised a deal for a long-term lease of Dragon International Film Studios in Wales. Fox is already filming TV show The Bastard Executioner at the facility. Historical feature Ironclad is the only feature to have ever shot there.
