        • - However, if you send a recce or scout crew of up to three people to Belize, decide to shoot your picture there, and will be spending at least US$2 million, then the Government will refund the cost of the recce or scout to you. The following benefits are also available for the shoot if the Belize budget is at least US$2 million: •Tax-free importation of all equipment and materials to be used in the picture on the understanding all unused materials and all equipment are exported at the end of the shoot. •Income tax freedom on the salaries of all foreign employees and freedom from Work Permits and the payment of Social Security benefits. •A rebate of all hotel taxes paid for crew, staff and talent. •A rebate of 10% of all salaries paid to Belizean employees on the project.
