California On-Location Awards set to honour location filming professionals
The California On-Location Awards (COLA) take place this Sunday (October 16th) and are set to honour location filming professionals working in the Golden State. Gongs will include Location Professional of the Year, Location Team of the Year and Public Employee of the Year.
This will be the ceremony’s 17th year and the event is organised by Film Liaisons in California, Statewide (FLICS), with Film LA also involved with the business angle for the first time this year. The ceremony will take place at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles.
To the nominees, finalists and eventual award winners, all of us at 'COLA Headquarters' thank you for your professionalism and wish you luck.

More than 80 individuals, 60 teams and 55 public employees have received awards throughout the event’s 16-year history. This year’s nominees include Doug Dresser for Friends with Benefits, Nancy Haecker for House MD and Ralph Meyer for Lincoln Lawyer.
