Cannes Soirée Partner: Pure Scandinavia
Also partnering with us at the Cannes Lions Festival for The Location Guide Soirée will be Pure Scandinavia, an organisation that promotes and facilitates filming projects throughout Scandinavia.
Formerly known as Scandinavia Shooting Club, Pure Scandinavia comprises commercial production houses Grillifilms and Woodpecker Film, with commercial projects referred to one or the other.
Evelin Soosaar is a Producer with Pure Scandinavia: “We’re heading to Cannes Lions to promote our re-brand (from Scandinavia Shooting Club to Pure Scandinavia) and to renew our past relationships with existing clients, as well as meeting new people and companies, of course.”
The organisation is also owned by Moskito Television, Finland’s biggest TV production company, and equipment rental house Angel Films, which offers everything from grips and trucks through to lighting and cranes alongside Finland’s largest studio facility.
Regional snow guarantees within easy reach of Europe’s major transport hubs are clearly Scandinavia’s most obvious selling points, but the organisation also wants to raise awareness of the beauty of the region’s natural scenery during the spring and summer months.
