Dennis was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, and worked in film part-time from 1998 until the loss of his full-time job paved the way for a transition into film. He quickly became an Assistant Location Manager and then shortly after that he started scouting and location managing.
Miki began her filming career in the US as a freelance production co-ordinator. She moved back to Japan in 2001 and set up production company ifd in Tokyo, with support from filmmaker Reiko Yamamoto in the US.
[slideshow id=278]Jose started his career studying a BA in Film & Television at USC in 1986 and then an MFA at the American Film Institute in 1988 specialising in directing. He directed documentaries for several years before creating Kinema Films in 1993.
Over 30 years Adrian went from graduate trainee Account Executive to trainee advertising Agency Producer, Agency Producer, Production Company Producer and then Managing Director at RSA Films. He’s now Executive Producer and Partner at Streetlight Films.
Jeremy studied for an MA in film at the Royal College of Art in London and then started out in the industry as a runner. He gained the experience and knowledge he needed, and has now been producing commercials for 20 years.
Sara moved to Costa Rica from Italy as a child when her parents decided it was a beautiful country for a break and a new experience. Sara learned both Spanish and English, and while film school and work as an Assistant director took her overseas, she soon returned to Costa Rica.
Deborah moved to Jakarta from New York City in the early 90s after learning that the local industry was opening up. In 1998 due to the Asian financial crisis and lack of projects being developed in the capital, she moved to Bali assisting several foreign television productions filming on the island.
Alec is a New York-based commercial Line Producer with extensive international experience. In addition to commercials he’s worked in branded content, short films, TV, music videos, print and post-production. He was the Executive Producer at Lost Planet Editorial New York and a Supervising Producer on several short film projects for Radical Media.
