Kaouther Ben Hania’s Beauty and the Dogs, which will be screened as part of the Un Certain Regard at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, was shot entirely in Tunis.

Tiger Zinda Hai moves production to Abu Dhabi for “huge” shoot
Bollywood blockbuster, Tiger Zinda Hai, has moved production to Abu Dhabi after recently concluding an extensive shoot in Tirol, Austria. The project is expected to film over a 65 day period, the longest shoot time of a feature film in the history of Abu Dhabi.

In its latest spot for Kyivstar, production company The Martini Shot have utilised the southern shore of Georgia to depict an idyllic island paradise. The scenes, which feature a man chasing after a monkey who has stolen his phone, were sourced in Georgia’s Batumi region.
Their Finest used London’s Bloomsbury for wartime setting
Lone Scherfig’s wartime drama, Their Finest, transformed the streets of Bloomsbury into 1940’s Britain for two days of filming. The shoot in Bedford Square took place in late 2015, with 150 cast and crew present including the film’s main stars, Gemma Arterton and Bill Nighy.

Production service company Crew For Shoots has filmed its latest commercial for Special T on location in Sri Lanka. The spot features actress Diane Kruger as she visits multiple locations including Nuwara Eliya, Badulla, Ella and Haputale.
Spain to play a larger role in Game of Thrones season 7
Spain will feature more prominently in the upcoming season of HBO's Game of Thrones, with scenes shot in Zumaia and Bermeo. One of the new major locations is the islet of Gaztelugatxe, which rumour has it will depict the fictional Kingdom of Highgarden.
