Czech Republic to entice foreign productions with 20% rebate
The proposal is for a 20% tax rebate for foreign and domestic productions filming in the Czech Republic through a new bill that will be put forward to cabinet in October. The Ministry of Culture is currently in talks with The Ministry of Finance and various state agencies,but it is hoped that approval will be passed in 2008 and this new law will be in effect in 2009.
